The crib

Since Matilda is almost six weeks old, we decided to finally introduce her to her big crib. She has been co-sleeping with us which I love, but I realize that it's probably not the best habit to start. I cleaned all the sheets again because the crib has doubled as our changing table and put her in her crib for her naps today and it went very well. Here she is happy as a lark:

So, we'll see how it goes tonight. I've gotten some great tips from books and friends and I am putting them in to practice!

So Cute! We coslept with both of our girls at first, then moved them into their crib at about 6 months. Just for short stints at first. I breastfed on demand, so they didn't sleep through the night for at least a year.

Guess what? They are 15 and 11 and PERFECT sleepers. They have not attachment issues at all and are well adjusted, beautiful, healthy young ladies. (I got SO MUCH flack from frenemies at the time---I hope this has changed in a dozen or so years.)

My only regret--we got very little use out of that expensive baby furniture!
