peasant blouse

i have had the sweetest day with my girl today. we had a slow dance to "you are my sunshine" and i could feel her little heart beating...hard to put in to words. i'm so thankful for my life and the beautifulness that i'm able to experience everyday. thank You.

i found this tutorial here. the tutorial gave a rough outline, but being a visual person i would have loved to see more pictures, but the pattern was easy to print out and use. it says "easy," but it is still a bit time consuming with all of the casing and threading, but in the end it's one of my favorite things i've made. it just looks so cute on til. i'm going to lengthen it next time to make it a dress. i love the fullness.

the shirt fabric is from a tea towel and the sleeves are fabric from one of sam's old shirts.
