and dried up all the rain

well, unless you don't own a television, you've most likely heard about the floods in georgia. for a week solid we have been getting hit hard with rumbling thunder, crashes of lightening, and never-ending rain. luckily we only had some minor flooding. it is truly amazing how much day after day of darkness and rain affected my mood. i have been a delicate creature and struggling with finding confidence and feeling productive. the couch and i have had our fair share of time.

this morning was more of the same: cloudy and dark. with the insistence of mama and sam i cancelled my much anticipated date with katie to stay safe, but as the day wore on, the sun reared its golden head.

and oh yea. happy first day of fall.

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

i wish everyone could find the beauty in what seems like a dismal situation. i was just forced to move from Atlanta 4 months ago, but every day it's on my heart, and especially now. stay dry.

you look SO pretty in that pic with Matilda on your chest, and once again she's making her hilarious Matildaface. :) I want that one on my mantle!
