i sound like gene hackman in america's sweethearts (is that the name? the one with jlove?). my dear, sweet mama was worried so she made me and sam some delicious coq au vin. mmmmm.
i had my first real sale yesterday. it made my day. it will be a shower gift for a sweet baby girl. i was given free reign (isn't that amazingly nice) and here is the finished product! i did the entire thing today.
what do you think? i was really happy with how it turned out. the tint is off because it's TEN and i'm a crazy lady.
sam got his first shooting medal today. look how proud he is! it makes me happy to see. i love him.

ReplyDeleteThis is so exciting. I can't wait to see the beautiful things you'll make!
ReplyDeleteyay!! can you teach me to sew? absolutely LOVES IT!
ReplyDeleteThat dress is the prettiest thing I've ever seen you make. It is so lovely, and even more impressive than most things I see in stores or in any of the closets of the babies I know. I wish all my babes weren't little boys or else I'd try to get all the mamas to buy those dresses! I'll send a picture of it to everyone I know who has a girl, though. I wish you'd set this up before Xmas and I definitely would have bought Aria one! Next holiday for sure. :)
ReplyDeleteI love you and am so proud of you, your persistence, bravery, and immediate success!
Just discovered your blog. It's terrific! I love that dress. Adorable.
ReplyDeleteThe dress is soooo cute! Do you ever sew for a profit.? I would be a great customer. :).
