le jardin joli

i was so excited to have the opportunity to finally experience le jardin joli's plant sale. my aunt kim's sister karen along with the homeowner michelle put on the loveliest plant sales full of timeless perennials and the most beautiful clay pots and beeskepes.

the oakton house, built in 1838, is the oldest occupied home in marietta. i love this ladybanks. so beautiful!

matilda underneath this gorgeous azalea.

tiny nastursiums.

mama and matilda walking through the vegetable garden. the goodmans sell their harvest at the marietta farmer's market.

{pineapple cilantro, rudbeckia, bee balm, candy tuft, and another akebia}

what i came home with.

see more of the gardens here.

have a wonderful weekend! we'll be having a yard sale on saturday for all who want to stop by...

Thank you so much for featuring Michelle's website lejardinjoli and the plant sale. they have one in the fall as well, which is great because everyone else is running out of stuff by then. I'm the webmaster, soon you will be able to order online on lejardinjoli.com and Stephanie, check out www.oaktonhouseandgardens.com for info on tours and special events. I'll definately put a link to Homemade grits on our sites. Check out Michelle's personal blog at mariettaoakton.blogspot.com!
