just so that everyone knows...i survived my first craft fair! i have been just a tiny bit nervous about the whole thing. we had inclimate weather warnings, but we packed our little car and headed to athens! i was so excited to get to see christina and meet her fiance. i actually got to meet his awesome family too and christina's friend katie was the perfect addition to our little booth.
here's the setup:
here i am with my partner in crime. i love this girl and spending the day in her town was worth the trip alone.
down and out chic is one of my favorite online shops. don't these jewels look like candy? i picked up a pair of large studs and two hair pins. LOVE!
other notes of interest:
-people loved touching everything
-i ate two hot dogs (don't judge me)
-i felt like a carni, setting up and taking down in the same day
-i liked chatting with people facetoface
-it was so interesting seeing what people went for and what they didn't
-people like octopi (sam doesn't believe me that octopi is the plural)
-people like to talk about the weather
here i am with the adorable katie kortman. i just love her. one of the things that caught me off guard the most was the amount of friends that showed up to support me. the fact that they drove all the way to athens in the nasty weather was enough to make a girl feel really good. thank you all so much!
i also could never have done this without the help of my family. my sweet sister helped make the banner and tags and my mom took care of matilda and brought us the most delicious lunch and what can i say about this guy...
