1. this travel map spotted again on you are my fave. we have a big trip coming up, so i'm obsessed with all things travel.2. my little ray of sunshine along with the actual sunshine that has been shining away in the south. 60's and breezy. perfection. here matilda is holding my valentine's card to sam. she is obsessed with cards that play songs. my mom got her a dancing hamster card and they are in constant rotation.3. kate spade. love her. spring goodness with one of my favorite red heads: bryce dallas howard.4. thanks to my mama and jcrew i found a bathing suit i really love (make that two). matilda said, "mama, you look like a princess." can't make a girl feel much better than that. then she said, "but it's too small."5. this beautiful star clip. ultimate glamour. 6. this spring cleaning checklist from martha. loved hearing that i'm not alone in my flashing. also, love the great idea christy had about using a recipe box with "chores of the day." forgot my mama does that! check out the anti-american woman comment i got on that post.
honorable mentions: dinner with some of my favorite people tonight, getting my hair cut, more pampering with a pedicure, and excitement over a teddy bear picnic!
not making me happy: whiny, negative people. american apparel, and that's about it.

blooming tulips sitting on my kitchen island are making me especially happy these days. also, fruits and veggies I bought at whole foods on tuesday night. i can't go in there without going over my budget. I'm giving eating clean a try.

that it is supposed to be 65* today...which is about 65* warmer than it was last week. yep, below zero last week. crazy, but brief, nice weather...i'lll take it!!!!
I love happiness lists! I basically live for the weekends these days, so today I am happy that it is already Thursday. :) And happy that Pandora has been such a great study mate.
This beautiful weather has me smiling! Also, my mom and sister are planning a visit to see me this weekend. Doesn't get better than that!

I hate American Apparel with a passion (due to their incredibly sexist, misogynistic CEO) but I loooooove Matilda and her hilarious comments! I can't believe it's been so long since I've heard her talk. :(

I got my first (of hopefully many:) jcrew swimsuits last year and feel in LOVE!!! It's the cutest ever and I love it to pieces!
I get to see my sister tomorrow....this makes me VERY happy!

Seriously, does someone really go trolling around the blogs leaving rude comments about American women? Seems really unproductive. Though his non-American wife must be doing everything for him - which allows him much leisure time to stomp on lovely ladies like you.
He is married - right? Or is he still looking? He sounds like a real catch. Too bad my lazy American butt will never be enough.
