back in the day bakery

one of my favorite spots that we visited while we were in savannah was the back in the day bakery. it took us a while to walk there, but was it worth it (and necessary). i've become twitter friends with cheryl, the wife in the super-cute-in-love duo that owns the bakery. she was so warm and lovely and greeted us like we were family when we walked in (even though she was being filmed!). i can't say enough good things about the vintage charm that oozes out of this off-the-beaten-path gem. if you go to savannah it's a must and if you're lucky you'll go on a saturday and get to try the made from scratch cinnamon rolls (i got mine with cream cheese frosting, hence why the walk was necessary).
