I have been running my little (er...not that little) tookish all around town today. Don't worry about why. I finally got my hands on some Orla Kiely for Target. I have to say that I was even more impressed when I saw them in person than when I saw them online. The quality was fantastic. I walked away with four coffee mugs. I wanted the beautiful pear table cloth, but couldn't justify it since I don't have a rectangular table. Will probably regret later...

Spotlight: Orla Kiely

Orla Kiely over the last few years has really exploded! Known for her bright patterns (most notably the signature stem print) and the use of laminated fabrics, Kiely has only been around since the 90's, but she is definitely making her mark in the fashion world.

I recently made my first Orla Kiely purchase for myself. I got Kate a bag for Christmas several years ago (the prices have gone up a wee bit since then!). I bought the stem check sling bag to use as a diaper bag:

Her things are almost irresistible! The prices make it a little easier to abstain. I thought these bright bursts of color might cheer up this cloudy Sunday.
