Oh Domino

One of my favorite magazines, Domino has released a decorating book full of their best hits and design tips. Domino The Book of Decorating, is chock full of excellent decorating tips, but nothing cookie cutter just like the magazine. I would love a copy for my birthday (hint, hint). The book retails for $32 and also comes with a one year subscription to the magazine! Brillz!

Trying to keep sane

I have officially cleaned my entire house like 5 times. I washed the sheets today, fluffed the duvet, sprayed the bed with linen spray. All of this with hopes of sweet dreams and contractions!

I am finding it very hard not to be antsy. I've been reading the Baby Whisperer, which I've been really enjoying.



The book really makes a lot of sense and I've been learning so much.

I set up a deco file on Domino's website, which is basically an online inspiration board. It's really easy to use.

Steal this idea

In my latest issue of Domino Magazine this wallpaper of silhouettes really stood out. I have always loved silhouettes and this simple idea is so clever!



I created a wall of graphic, yet ladylike, art with just a quart of black paint. The silhouettes were printed on full-sheet labels and then the black squares were painted around them before removing the labels. The shapes could be changed to suit another room (fruit and vegetable shapes for a kitchen, etc).—Ashley from New York, NY
