Latte-versary

Yesterday I picked up four pink latte bowls to go with the cream ones we already have. I love the pink and thought that Sam could handle just four. Here is Sam looking mighty fine.




It's funny that I bought the bowls yesterday because as I headed down my blog roll, I remembered The Neilsons Latte-versary, which is today. This is the couple that I've featured several times who are still in recovery after their plane crashed this past August. Every year on their Anniversary they would pick up latte bowls and this year is their eighth. So, I dedicate the pink latte bowls to Nie and her speedy recovery. Please continue to keep them in your prayers.

Thinking of Nie

Even though I don't know Stephanie Nielson, I think about her a lot. I think about her children, her husband, their progress. I keep up with them through cjanerun, her sister Courtney's blog. I still love to read her archives on nieniedialogues. I came across a Halloween post where she showed off her decorated mantle. I love the black spray painted twigs and birds. She's so inspiring to me. I just love her and miss reading her thoughts on motherhood and being a wife.




Please continue to pray for their healing.

Sorry

Sorry for the lack of posting here lately. I guess this is the last trimester slump as they say. I have been overly tired and cranky lately and just trying to put on a happy face. I've also been really saddened by the tragedy that this family is going through...it put me in a funk quite frankly. You can get updates from Nie Nie's sister at c jane run. I just hate it that such a terrible thing would happen to such a sweet family. Please continue to pray for their recovery.

On a more positive note..I am loving the mustache mania that is sweeping the design world!

Please Pray

The sweet little family I did a post on earlier this week have had a scary thing happen. Nie (Stephanie) and her husband Christian were involved in a terrible private plane crash and are being treated for serious injuries. Please pray for their recovery and for those precious children who must be so worried. Thank you.

Blogs I read: NieNie Dialogues

One of my favorite new blogs is nieniedialogues. Stephanie Nielson chronicles her life with bright beautiful pictures covered in her thoughts and words. She has four young children and manages to create such a creative and fun atmosphere for them to grow up in. I am very inspired by her.
