Restaurant Review: Ria's Bluebird Cafe

After church yesterday Rachel and I were on a mission for a great lunch spot. We ended up meeting our friends Kate and Andy and Claire at Ria's Bluebird Cafe on Memorial Drive. Located next to famed Six Feet Under, Ria's is a tiny, "breakfast served all day" spot with wood floors, tables, and retro details. The menu looked straight out of the 50's and featured breakfast on one side and lunch on the other.

Andy and I ordered the pancakes, his with caramalized bananas was divine! Plain, however were equally tasty. Rachel kept it simple with the Early bird breakfast, which she thought was perfection. Claire got her daily dose of veggies with the Bionic breakfast and Kate had the Bluebird burrito with a side of fruit. Let's just say there were no leftovers and everyone left completely satisfied. I can't wait to take Sam because it was so lovely and intimate, a perfect weekend spot.
