6 week check up

I had my six week check up today which went very well! I can't believe it's been almost six weeks. This morning was the first time I've been away from Matilda. Mama watched her while I was gone and it was nice to not have to worry about much for a few hours. I got some grocery shopping done and some laundry! If you are cutting back on eating out and love Macaroni Grill like Sam and I do, I picked this up today and it was FABULOUS!

It was only about $4 and it tasted like the real deal. Heaven!

I finally called my work place today to tell them when I would be coming back. I feel so sad that my maternity leave is coming to an end...

I also feel so proud of my family. We are getting more and more efficient as parents. Tonight we had our first uninterrupted dinner because I finally got the timing down. Sam was like, "I don't think it's that babies get easier...I just think parents get smarter." Couldn't agree more.

Matilda is still spitting up and gassy as ever. It breaks my heart. We burp and rub her back constantly. Here's proof:

Tilda is starting to smile more and more which is like a natural high for me everytime it happens. She is also the most polite baby and I love manners! She covers her mouth when she sneezes...no kidding and she never cries at night when she's hungry, she just taps me on the arm until I wake up. I am so in love!

So sweet! Speaking of manners, Ella has always chewed with her mouth closed - girls are just better! ;)
