rest in peace

Yesterday was a very sad day for my family. Rachel and my Father took Bailey, our 14 year old lab, to be put to sleep. He was riddled with tumors and all sorts of ailments and it was becoming so painful to see. Our childhood pet, Bailey has seen us through many years. He was a loyal and loving dog and we will miss him dearly. A true example of love is a dog, they never complain, they love unconditionally, and they are always happy to be near their loved ones. We love you.

I'm so sorry! We put our 13 year old Retriever last month. She had kidney failure. I still expect to see her when I visit my mom on Sunday's.

aww I am so sorry I remember when you got him. He is also how my dad STILL remembers which of my friends you are (he is really bad with names) he says "Lesley is the one with the chocolate lab right?"

Nothing makes me more sad than doggies having to be put to sleep . . . especially since I just went to see Marley & Me! So much love to all of you and we'll all remember Bailey fondly!
