Happy Mother's Day

This weekend I will be celebrating my first "official" Mother's Day. I am looking forward to a nice lunch, hopefully cooked by the men and hopefully outside and more than anything I'm looking forward to sleeping in (truth be told this is all I've requested). I'm not a big sleeper-iner. I'm talking 9 o clock and I'll be good to go.

In honor of my beautiful Mother, I am going to share the article I wrote in an attempt to summarize our relationship and how it has evolved since giving birth to Matilda. Just click on the link below...

so wonderful... I love your mom too. Your mom must not remember your teenage years or blocked them out...

This made my eyes wet. Everything you said is true. I think it is truly another plateau in life when you have true and genuine appreciation for all your mother has done for you. The cycle continues...

I love you!
