snow day

my body is so not happy with me. i'm taking a forced break today. fun plans have been cancelled, i don't think i'll get out of my pajamas and i'm pretty sure we'll stay holed up as we are expecting snow today. that's right. so exciting. when you live in the south, snow is such a novelty that we all wait like children to see that first flurry. all you northerners are rolling your eyes.

we'll be playing hide and go seek and making hot chocolate and reading this.

entertain me: what are some of your favorite things to do on a snow day?

love that cute baby girl peeking at you! i am going to build a fire & curl up with a good book, a fuzzy blanket, and a cup of tea/hot cocoa. also, when we were kids we would make forts in the living room with blankets, pillows, and chairs :) hope you feel better friend!

We haven't had a snow day here in the South Carolina lowcountry in MANY MANY moons. If we DID have one, I'd stay in my pajamas ALL day long, drink coffee and hot chocolate, watch movies, and blog in front of a roaring fire. In short, I'd be totally LAZY.

three things:
1. love the tent.
2. love the snowy day.
3. love sitting outside in a hot tub sipping hot cocoa as the flakes fall down. (too bad i don't have a hot tub outside my apartment.)

hope you're feeling better!

So cute!! Here is a blog post I did with some fun ideas for having a good time with that snow - catching snowflakes, painting the snow etc. if you want to check them out. http://cynsreality.wordpress.com/2009/12/30/fun-in-the-snow/
