i love baking

i made these oatmeal vanishing cookies (sub craisins for raisins, cause i'm crazy like that). i made them in honor of the final season of LOST. are you as excited to have your questions answered as we are???

today i added something new to the shop. something that i hope you'll like. i'm going to be making an array of what i call graduate school zipper pouches.

this is the first to go up. made of recycled anthropologie tea towels and decked out with a bright orange ruffle.

i think they're the perfect size for just about anything!

i'm really tired and feeling very melancholy. my sweet baby brother is moving away for 10 months. i'm so proud of him for joining americorps and so sad that he'll be gone for that long...

That's so exciting about Jake!!! What's his assignment (and where)? One of my sorority sisters did Americorps and LOVED it. She met her husband through the program and now they have three kids!

Wish I could eat your cookies. I hate to bake.

1. Those cookies look scrumptious.
2. I LOVE the introduction of pouches into your sewing repertoire!
3. This back and forth weather has me feeling weird and is affecting my moods as well.
4. Can't wait to see what you do with your new fabrics!

Whoa! Love the new zipper pouch. (Just so you know, the notion that you'll be adding a few "grown-up" goodies to your shop REALLY excites me!) Also, those cookies need to get into my mouth, pronto! Beautiful!
