season of sadness

just a snippet of things bringing me joy during this season of terrible sadness and awful circumstance. i feel really guarded talking about my personal life these days. i've just been treading water trying to keep afloat amongst the tidal waves of life. i'm terrified to come up for air in fear that all of the bad news will hit me in the face at once. i'm beyond thankful for my God who i know hasn't forsaken us. i am holding on to every whisper of goodness and every breath of new beginnings.

I, too, am thinking of you with prayers asking the One who knows our deepest sadness and carries our every burden because his yoke is light to comfort you and bring you hope.

I've gone through "seasons of sadness" too. It's so hard when you keep getting hit by waives of bad news. Keep focusing on the new good things and you will eventually ride it out. You will get through it!

hey girl... just caught this as I am up late doing 1,000 things and my heart was pulled in. I will pray. And also I am "here" and would love to re-connect with you, now that we are both Mama's and catch up.

I can understand your pain. Tea with a Twist, my first book, was written during some of my darkest times. It is amazing how God can give you strength!
