february.

february is one of my favorite months. the month of looooove.

i got a bunch of beautiful, new fabric. i love fabric. it's so hard for me to cut it sometimes. however, it does get cut. i made this. it took me longer than any other dress i've made. lots of handstitching and extra details...

i spent a lovely evening with my dear friend osayi. she is such a ball of positive energy, always trying to learn and grow and i love that about her. she never stops dreaming and pushing and it's very inspiring. you should read her words, check out her blog: unblocked, she comes right through!

our conversation has me thinking about my goals. i have a lot right now, more than i've ever had in my entire life. i feel like i'm just starting to come in to my own. after years of searching i feel like i'm finding myself. deep.

i'm pretty sure it has a lot to do with this little thing:

oh how I love getting fabric in the mail..... or getting fabric in general. but I have the same prob. as you!!! I HATE cutting into it! And because of that, I tend to use mostly the fabrics I don't really like as much, which is dumb because then I have to look at them ALL THE TIME!! Why don't i just use the stuff I like to make things for olivia and I???? do you do this???
