have a legend-waitforit-dary weekend

i've been a sewing fool. here are the outfits i've been working on for some baby twins. the goal was "matching, but not matching" and this was my first attempt at overalls. i may have said a few cuss words along the way, but i'm happy with how they turned out.

hope you all have a jammin' weekend. sam and i are finally having a date night where i will try to convince him to see this. not banking on it though. speaking of dates, i had a date with my mama last night. we practiced yoga here and it was gorgeous. i felt very fancypants and then we had dinner here. best healthy food that tastes amazing ever. mom and i have been going to one yoga class a week and thanks to rebecca i discovered passport to prana. it's $30 for a card that has about 30 studios on it, where you are entitled to one class per studio. the classes end up being about a dollar a piece. so great!

would love to hear what you are up to this weekend...

so far the only thing definitely on the schedule is a bang trim for me and swim lessons for the two big girls. exciting, no?

Cute dresses. We are going car shopping this weekend. Although in theory it should be fun, we weren't really wanting to replace a car right now...so, it seems more like a pain. But hopefully we find something we like.

If you see Black Swan I have to know what you think. It looks cool in a creepy kind of way. I wanted to see that last weekend, but we opted for King's Speech instead. (Loved it!)

You must see Black Swan, it is a little shocking but very good. If you like that style. Going to an estate sale and enjoying the 60 degree weather!

The overalls are amazing, the girly outfit too - you are one talented lady! Yoga with your mom sounds fun. I have a girlfriend who teaches yoga, and I went to her class last week, both of her parents came! I thought that was so precious. My husband is going to a men's retreat this weekend at another church, praying he is filled up and refueled - so I am home with all FOUR! Should be a story or two to tell! Thanks again for all of your posts on being healthier - you have been a HUGE encouragement to me, and you will never know how grateful I am. You will be proud - no diet cokes since Tuesday and coffee with no sweetener! Enjoy your weekend!

So cute! You are so talented! I've been reading your blog for just a short while and it's one of my favorites! :) This weekend is actually my birthday weekend, so we'll be relaxing and maybe opening a present or two! ;) Have a wonderful weekend!

The Passport to Prana thing is AMAZING! Thanks so much for sharing. I made a really great Thai dish with greek yogurt, curry paste, coconut milk & oil, brown rice pasta - with ginger sauteed kale last night - and had the thought - I bet Mrs. Homemade Grits might like this. More intentional eating this weekend. Maybe an intentional cocktail or two...

I love the outfits, and I love the How I Met Your Mother reference! :) My weekend was spent visiting friends in Denver. We had a great time, but it's nice to be home.
