getting motivated

i really loved this post from lululemon on transitioning from day wear to yoga/running/en route-to-class wear. i am committing to doing yoga at least twice this week. my stiff body has been craving it. i've found that if i sleep in my yoga clothes or put them on first thing in the morning i double my chances of practicing.

what motivates you to sweat?
(tip: go outside for 5 seconds in this boiling heat. that was not a complaint, just an observation.)

I like that idea. I'm in need of a little motivation. On these hot summer days, I barely want to move.

Seeing one of my good friends this past weekend motivated me to start sweating again. She looks amazing and I thought "I could look like that!"

the inevitable labor and delivery of our little girl... i have been pretty good about exercising three times a week. i go between an hour-long prenatal yoga dvd, swimming, or the elliptical. i never try to over do it, but keep in mind that my body will go through the toughest thing come november!

I've been taking a Pure Barre class and its awesome. I feel strong and lean and can actually see results. Thats what keeps me motivated...that and knowing I have to wear a bathing suit in about a month on a beach trip ;) Really tho...this is the first time I've ever taken any sore of exercise class and it is awesome. Kicks my butt...but is awesome.
