At the store I met a lady and her two adorable girls. The girls were wearing the cutest outfits I'd ever laid my eyes on. When I asked who they were made by, you can imagine my delight when they said...Matilda Jane! Enjoy, these pictures speak for themselves.

When Mom and I went to Ecobella a few months back, I first saw Tiny Toms and fell in love with them! Just like adult Toms, when you purchase a pair of Tiny Toms, a pair will be donated to a child in need.

Spotlight: Noo Noo Designs

When we were in Charleston this past March, Grammy, Mama, Rachel and I went shopping on King Street and stumbled upon the coolest boutique. Worthwhile boutique carries either handmade or extremely unique items. While we were there Grammy bought Matilda the neatest little security blanket by U.K. designers, NooNoodesigns.



Bug-gy is a mini comfort blanket with felted textural bobbles, flowers and loops - as seen on its larger cousins - the central image is a bug (hence the name of the product!).

Bug-gy has been designed as an add-on for prams, buggies, pushchairs, car seats, cots and high chairs providing a welcome alternative to plastic distracters .... also very useful for slipping into children's pockets when they first go to school - and saves on cutting up a larger item!

Spotlight: Green to Grow Bottles

We received two of these darling bottles from my friend/co-worker Andrea and I can't wait to use them.

Green to Grow was founded by husband and wife team, Michael and Shelley Ritterbrown: Our decision to launch Green to Grow with a line of bisphenol A-free plastic baby bottles grew from our alarm as we read reports that highlighted the potential dangers presented by polycarbonate plastic, which contains the hormone disruptor bisphenol A which can cause neurological, developmental, and reproductive toxins, and from our frustration over the lack of options.

Spotlight: Hop Skip Jump toys

While looming around the web, I came across Hop Skip Jump's blog. I was instantly enamored with Aussie designer, Fiona's, little creatures:









I was so inspired by her creations that I wanted to hook my sewing machine up and take it for a spin! My heart leapt as I discovered each new little animal. You can visit her etsy here, but her store is currently empty. You can sign up for her email list at her blog to stay informed.

Spotlight: I Heard it From Alice Zucchini

My dear friend Emily, who always finds the sweetest gifts...ordered me my new favorite children's book:



The illustrations by Christine Davenier and poems by Juanita Havill are so dear and lovely. I felt so happy reading this book...I can only imagine how much a child would love it. Just read the first page below:

Some of the best tips I get from mothers who shop in the store I work at. These uber hip Moms always have the best gear, toys, clothes, shoes, you name it. Spotlight: Sprout+Our Labor of Love

I found these portraits on a photography blog called Our Blog of Love featuring the work of Our Labor of Love. This husband and wife duo based out of Atlanta are extremely talented. They have photographed several of our friend's weddings, and the results were amazing.

Spotlight: Salt Water Sandals

I can't remember where I first saw these sandals, but I will definitely be purchasing some for my wee one. Salt-water sandals are not only adorable and a celebrity favorite but they are very tough and comfortable! Made of the finest leather, I love the classic styling of all of their shoes.

My favorite is the original, which now comes in bright orange:
